Please join us in celebrating an afternoon of camaraderie and lunch with AMC CT chapter members. We are grateful to those folks who participate in the many outdoor activities offered and to the volunteers who lead these activities. In addition, we thank members who inform us on Connecticut's environmental and conservation issues. Come join the party, meet new people, and learn how you can get involved.

Here is a tentative schedule. Morning activities include a 2-mile nature walk and a 5-mile hike. Meet at the pavilion (follow AMC signs) at 10 am. A bike ride and other activities will be offered and posted online in the AMC Database: www.outdoors.org.

No walk-ins, advance registration required

Here's the tentative schedule:

9:30 am: Hike-moderate go to AMC database to register: www.outdoors.org
9:45 am: Geology Hike
10:00 am: Hike-relaxed (meet at pavilion)
11:00 am Nature walk- easy ( meet at pavilion)
12:30 pm Lunch (sandwiches, salad, snacks, non-alcoholic beverages, dessert)
1:30-3:00 Prizes Give away, Games, Used Book and Gear sale

As an expansion of Leave No Trace principles, to reduce our environmental impact, everyone is requested to bring their own reusable plates, cups and flatware. Thank you for your understanding and participation.

Bring your own chair, bug spray and sunscreen. Bring your used gear in good to excellent working condition. Also travel, outdoor skill /adventure books to trade or give away..
